Member, Board of Directors: Gordon Hunter, currently Chairman and CEO of Littelfuse in Des Plains, IL, joined the Board of Directors of Rubicon Technology in 2007 after initially joining Rubicon’s Board of Directors as an Advisory Board Member. Since 2002, Mr. Hunter has served as a director, and, since 2005, he has served as the chairman of the board, president and chief executive officer of Littelfuse, Inc., an international supplier of fuse and other circuit protection products for the electronics industry. Mr. Hunter served as the chief operating officer of Littelfuse from 2003 through 2004. Prior to joining Littelfuse, Mr. Hunter was vice president, Intel Communications Group, and general manager, Optical Products Group for Intel Corporation.

Vice President Sales and Marketing: Our finalist candidate joined Rubicon from Saint-Gobain. In his previous role he focused on Asian and European markets, as Business Manager for Saint-Gobain Crystals. His 20 years of experience (last 10 in sapphire) include product development, financial, marketing and managerial positions in technology businesses. Hap holds an MBA in Strategy and Marketing as well as a BS in Sciences.

Vice President, Quality: Our finalist candidate joined Rubicon from General Electric, where he was the Global Quality Leader and a Six Sigma Master Black Belt for GE’s Quartz and Advanced Ceramics Business.
