Site General Manager, Reynosa, Mexico Operations: Our
finalist candidate joined Laird in 2009 from Pentair Electronic Packaging.
Most recently, our finalist candidate was the Plant Manager for a large,
international manufacturing site. He brings 20 years of experience in
the areas of electronics plant management, operations management, project
management, quality management, and design engineering.
Vice President, Global Operations: Our
finalist candidate joined Laird in 2008 from Owens Corning. He brings
20 years of experience in the areas of multi-site North American and international
manufacturing management, General Management, Business Development management,
and Plant Management. In his most recent roles our finalist candidate
had full leadership responsibility for a multi-location, Pan Asia business
based in Shanghai, China, and for a multi-location manufacturing organization
within North America.
General Manager: Our finalist candidate joined Laird in
2008 from Momentive Performance Materials/General Electric Advanced Materials.
Most recently, our finalist candidate was the Commercial leader for a
$300 million business. He brings 20 years of experience in the areas of
general management, sales, marketing, and product management. In addition
to bringing strong business management expertise, our finalist candidate
is also the holder of a U.S. Patent.
Business Unit Finance Head: Our finalist candidate joined
Laird in 2008 from Silgan Plastics Corporation, a $600M industrial products
company for the pharmaceutical and automotive markets. Most recently,
our finalist candidate was the Director of Finance for the organization,
responsible for providing leadership of financial and management accounting
channels, as well as strategic initiatives. He brings over 20 years of
experience in the areas of manufacturing financial management and leadership,
at both site and corporate levels. Our finalist candidate assumes Finance
responsibility for Laird Technologies fastest growing business unit.
Product Line Director: Our finalist candidate joined Laird
in 2008. He brings more than 25 years of extensive experience in product
marketing and management primarily within the semiconductor industry as
well as significant experience in Asia. He takes responsibility for a
rapidly growing product line within Laird’s Electronic Components and
Systems Division.
Product Line Director: Our finalist candidate joined Laird
in 2008. He brings almost 15 years of experience in the areas of business
management, business development, product management, and account management,
primarily with Motorola. He takes responsibility for a rapidly growing
product line within Laird’s Electronic Components and Systems Division.
Director and Head of Operations for North America: Our
finalist candidate joined Laird in 2007 from GE Advanced Materials. Most
recently, our finalist candidate was a global business unit site General
Manager, as well as the co-leader for all marketing strategies. He brings
over 25 years of experience in the areas of manufacturing and operations
management, product quality management, process engineering, and project
engineering. In addition, he brings experience in leading the implementation
of Six Sigma initiatives through his Master Black Belt certification.
Director, High Performance Product Management: Our
finalist candidate joined Laird in 2007. He brings 15 years of experience
in the areas of business management, product management, operations management,
and engineering, primarily gained at Avery Dennison. He takes responsibility
for a rapidly growing product line within Laird Technologies.
Global Director, Sales and Marketing: Our
finalist candidate joined Laird in 2006 from AMI Doduco, the world’s largest
manufacturer of precious metal electrical contact systems. Most recently,
our finalist candidate was the Vice President, Sales and Marketing, The
Americas Business Unit at AMI Doduco. He brings over 20 years of experience
in the areas of sales management, marketing, and business development,
all within organizations that design and develop highly engineered, complex
products. In
2007 our finalist candidate was promoted to a Business Unit General Manager
position.
Director, High Performance Product Management: Our
finalist candidate joined Laird in 2007. He brings 15 years of experience
in the areas of business management, product management, operations management,
and engineering, primarily gained at Avery Dennison. He takes responsibility
for a rapidly growing product line within Laird Technologies.
Director, Thermoelectric Product Management: Our
finalist candidate joined Laird in 2006 from BF Goodrich and Noveon where
he had been responsible for sales, marketing, and product management.
He brings almost 20 years of experience in the areas of engineering, sales,
marketing, and product management within highly engineered materials products
businesses.
Director of Process Engineering: Our finalist candidate
joined Laird in 2006 from PolyOne Corporation and Excel Polymers, where
he had been head of Technical Processes. He brings extensive experience
to Laird Technologies in the areas of complex product development and
manufacturing process development.
