finalist candidate joined Applied
Materials from Lam Research. He brings over 20 years of experience in
engineering, operations, and global procurement and supply chain management
within the technology industry.
Working with the Head of Global Supply Chain Management,
we have placed the following key team member:
Director, Supply Chain Management: Our
finalist candidate joined Applied Materials in 2007 from Allied
Telesis. Most recently, our finalist
candidate was the Managing Director for Global Supply Chain Operations,
responsible for all order fulfillment operations, strategic alliance
management, and supply-chain activities. He had full profit and loss
responsibility for three main business units, including Southeast Asia
and
China. He brings over 20 years of domestic and international supply
chain,
manufacturing and operations experience. He has held a number of strategic
positions within Hewlett-Packard, Agilent Technologies, and Turin Networks
during his career, in addition to his executive level position at Allied
Telesis.
Head of Worldwide Logistics, Applied Global
Services:
Our finalist candidate joined Applied Materials in 2006 from
Silicon Graphics, where he had been responsible for the company's Global
Logistics Supply Chain. He brings over 25 years of experience in global
logistics and supply chain management experience in large established
high technology organizations. In addition, he is a sought after public
speaker for his knowledge within the logistics industry.
Head of Worldwide Logistics, Global Operations: Our
finalist candidate joined Applied Materials in 2006 from Agilent Technologies
where he had been responsible for a multibillion dollar global parts
business. He brings over 20 years of experience in the areas of logistics
and supply chain management within the hardware and software industries.
Vice President, Corporate Asset Services and
Corporate Officer: Our finalist candidate
joined Applied Materials in 2005 from LSI Logic. He brings
over 25 years of experience in product development, global manufacturing,
and corporate asset operations within the semiconductor and technology
industries.
Working with the Vice President, Corporate Asset
Services, we have placed two key team members:
Head of Global Real Estate and Planning: Our
finalist candidate joined Applied Materials in 2006, in this
newly created position, from Tyco International. He brings
almost 20 years of experience in the areas of commercial and industrial
real estate portfolio management and policy, real estate services,
and real estate litigation. In his most recent position he had responsibility
for a global portfolio of 3,000+ facilities and 100+ million square
feet.
Head of Global Facilities Management: Our
finalist candidate joined Applied Materials in 2006, in this newly
created position. He brings over 30 years of experience in the areas
of manufacturing operations management, corporate asset services management,
and facilities management, all within large high-tech companies. Our
finalist candidate brings as well, a large amount of international
experience. Most recently, he was Director, Corporate Real Estate
and Facilities Management at Novellus Systems, where he had a very
successful 7 year career.
Sr. Director and Head of Program
Management: Our finalist
candidate joined Applied Materials from Raytheon Missile Systems.
She brings over 20 years of project and program management experience
in highly engineered, highly confidential, government classified, air
defense missile systems.
