Jonathan Robbins, Managing Partner

Jon has been practicing in the talent management field for over 15 years. His areas of expertise include, retained executive search, talent market analysis and feasibility studies, succession planning, compensation planning and analysis, corporate culture and leadership development.

Jon's work includes projects in both medium and large public and private companies and venture funded early and middle stage companies. His successes in executive search have included assignments for CEOs, CFOs, General Managers, Vice Presidents and Board of Director searches. Clients have included: Applied Materials, Cree, Danaher Corporation, Laird Technologies, Motorola, SanDisk and ANADIGICS.

Prior to being a co-founder of Edison Consulting Group, Jon was a Vice President at one of the country's ten largest executive search firms.  Prior to his career in talent management, Jon enjoyed a successful 15-year career with General Electric, Union Carbide, and ABB Automation. During his collective tenure at these companies he led product development teams in the design of high intensity halogen based lamps; designed and managed a start-up semiconductor operation and managed the design, installation, and start-up of large scale process control systems. Jon’s technical background is a tremendous asset to our many clients in the technical industries.

Jon holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing as well as a BS in Chemical and Environmental Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
