Caryn Avante, Managing Partner

Caryn has over 15 years of experience in consulting and organizational development and over 6 years in executive search. Her areas of expertise include corporate culture, change management, organizational design, crisis intervention and leadership development. Throughout her career, Caryn has worked with C-level executives in planning their strategic business direction and managing the change process necessary to achieve continuing success.

Prior to being a co-founder of Edison Consulting Group, Caryn managed her own successful organizational consulting firm and worked at a top-tier global management consulting firm. Her work includes multiple consulting projects for top-tier clients including Applied Materials, Veeco, ANADIGICS, SanDisk, Laird Technologies, SAP, Avery Dennison, The Federal Reserve Bank, Ernst & Young, McKinsey, American Electric Power and Coltene Whaledent.

Caryn has also developed and lead workshops in the areas of change management, corporate culture, strategic planning, leadership development and internal business communications. She has been a guest instructor at Case Western University Weatherhead School of Management as well as the university’s Executive Education Center. Additionally, Caryn has provided executive coaching to numerous senior business executives.

Caryn holds undergraduate degrees in Communications and Psychology and a Masters degree in Psychology from Liberty University.
